Minnesota Made Stoneware and Visual Art

I hope for my ceramics to hold more than food or drink. I want them to contain my ideas. As an avid fisherman, water has always been an important element in my life, thus the textures of water landscapes are prominent in my work. The streamlined,  longitudinal forms reference both sleek fish and agile canoes. Textured surfaces remind me of waves, riffles, eddies and rapids. The rhythmic lines and colors could also recall  scales, fillets and y-bones.
